45 IAC 23-1-2 Hunter's permit

Sec. 2. (a) A hunter's permit may be:

(1) issued only to applicants who are both owner and operator of a vehicle;

(2) issued only to a vehicle previously registered in Indiana or a newly purchased vehicle;

(3) issued for a thirty (30) day period, valid beginning on the date issued;

(4) issued after payment of a ten dollar ($10) fee to the department of state revenue (department);

(5) renewed only one (1) time after payment of a ten dollar ($10) renewal fee;

(6) issued for use by unladen vehicles only; and

(7) issued to only one (1) combination of vehicles.

(b) For purposes of this section, "hunter's permit" means a limited permit issued by the department allowing a commercial carrier to move their vehicle within Indiana for a limited period while seeking an Indiana load to be transported.
